About the Role
We are seeking a CA or CPA qualified Management Accountant for an immediate start on a 3-month contract based in West Perth.
Working within a prominent organization in the Mining & Resources sector, you will play a key role in driving month-end processes, financial reporting, forecasting, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Month-End Reporting: Prepare month-end journals, financial commentary, and reconcile results in a timely manner.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise directly with key business stakeholders prior to and during month-end processes.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collate, analyze, and build accurate forecasts and budgets.
- Data & Analytics: Utilize Power BI to manage large datasets and provide insightful financial reporting.
Skills & Qualifications
- Qualification: CPA or CA qualified (essential).
- Technical Skills:
Strong working knowledge of Power BI and advanced ability to manage large datasets.
- Systems: Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in the Mining & Resources sector is preferred.
- Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Attributes: High level of attention to detail with the ability to work independently in a quick-paced environment.
Work Schedule & Location
- Roster: Monday to Friday (7.6 hours/day)
- Flexibility: Hybrid work model (1 day WFH per week)
- Location: West Perth (Ord Street) - convenient location close to public transport and local amenities.
- Start Date: Immediate / ASAP
