Accountant- Part-Time (15- 20 hours per week with negotiable days)

Opportunity for an accountant skilled to join our finance team with Australian Cruise Group, a leading Sydney based tourism & leisure business.

Australian Cruise Group (ACG) owns and operates three cruising restaurant & event venues on Sydney Harbour – Sydney Showboats (Since 1987), Magistic Cruises (since 2001) and Clearview Cruises (since 2016).

The Scope of the Role

Directly reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, your main responsibilities will consist of but not limited to:

- Support month-end and year-end reporting (reconciliations, journals and analysis).

- Balance Sheet reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.

- Update and maintain the Fixed Asset register.





- Overseeing bookkeeping functions and ensuring compliance.

- Overseeing the work of Assistant Accountant.

- Supporting Chief Financial Officer with liaising with department head across the business.

- Ad-hoc administration duties required by Chief Financial Officer.

Ideal Candidates

- Tertiary qualification in Accounting

- Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience

- Experience using MYOB AccountRight, Xero or Quicken.

- Strong knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel

- High-level of attention to detail and excellent communication skills
