We are looking for two cook/chefs. One is for our beautiful 148 place childcare and early learning centre and the other is for our brand new 107 place early learning centre.

Bright Start is looking for a dynamic cook/chef to lead kitchen in preparing nutritious meals to children aged 0-5 years of age. The hours of the role are between 7:00 - 3:30 Monday to Friday. This is a 38 hour a week role and the start time is negotiable. A full time kitchen hand works alongside this role from 8:30-4:30. This position is avaialble immediately.

Our brand recent centre in Moore Street is looking for an experienced fulltime cook/chef. The hours will be 7:30 - 3:30 neogtiable. Due to open at the start of September.

You will prepare morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack. You will ensure the kitchen runs to budget, that the food safety program is fully implemented and that children's dietary requirements are managed.

- You must have experience working in a busy environment, food handlers certificate, have an understanding of children's allergies and cultural requirements.





- Experience working in a childcare centre would be advantageous.

- Employee Working with children check is essential.

The role are full-time role, however we are open to job share.

Bright Start Childcare and Early Learning Centre and Kids Club Child Care and Early Learning Centre are child safe organisations. You will be required to provide 2 appropriate referees for this role.
