ProCare Mental Health Services is seeking an experienced and compassionate Practice Manager to oversee our multidisciplinary mental health practice and manage the national GP Psychiatry Support Line.

About the GP Psychiatry Support Line
The GP Psychiatry Support Line is a Commonwealth-funded national service connecting GPs directly with psychiatrists for real-time clinical advice. Operating 12 hours a day, five days a week, the service supports thousands of GPs across Australia with medication advice, diagnostic clarification, risk assessment and patient management planning.

About The Role
This is a unique opportunity to lead both a thriving multidisciplinary mental health practice and one of Australia's most cutting-edge national mental health initiatives.

As Practice Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of ProCare while ensuring the GP Psychiatry Support Line continues to deliver an exceptional level of service to GPs nationwide. You'll work closely with our CEO, Clinical Director, Board, clinicians and administration team to drive operational excellence, support clinicians and continuously improve the services we provide.





This position is a minimum of three days per week (9:00 am–5:00 pm weekdays), with flexibility for the right candidate. The position requires a minimum of 3 days per week, 9am to 5pm weekdays.

Key Responsibilities

ProCare Practice Management

- Lead the day-to-day operations of a busy multidisciplinary mental health practice.

- Oversee practice management systems and coordinate with software providers.

- Manage contractor invoicing, third-party billing and financial administration.

- Maintain knowledge of Medicare, DVA, ADF, NDIS and Workers Compensation requirements.

- Develop and improve policies, procedures and operational systems.

- Coordinate internal communications, events and organisational reporting.

- Support governance activities, including Board meetings and reporting.

People Leadership

- Recruit, onboard and support clinicians and administrative staff.

- Manage rostering and workforce planning.

- Foster a collaborative, supportive and high-performing workplace culture.

- Build strong relationships with clinicians and external stakeholders.

GP Psychiatry Support Line Management

- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the national support line.

- Ensure service KPIs and reporting requirements are achieved.

- Assist with recruitment,



onboarding and training of support line staff.

- Contribute to the ongoing growth and development of the national service.

About You
We are looking for someone who is:

- Has experience managing a specialist medical or allied health practice.

- Is an organised and confident leader who enjoys supporting others.

- Has strong financial, administrative and operational skills.

- Is highly proficient with practice management software and Microsoft Office.

- Communicates professionally with everyone from clinicians to Board members.

- Remains calm under pressure and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

- Is compassionate, approachable and committed to excellent patient care.

- Has outstanding organisational and problem-solving skills.
