Elite Resource is currently seeking an experienced, safety-focused Dogman to join our team for a major construction project located at 9-17 Station St, Toowoomba.

This role involves directing tower crane operations on-site, requiring precise communication, excellent spatial awareness, and strict adherence to site safety standards.

Key Details:

- ? Location: 9-17 Station St, Toowoomba

- ⏰ Start Time: 6:00 AM daily

- ⏳ Shift Length: 10–12 hours per day (5 days a week)

- ? Duration: 2 Months (Ongoing work)

- ? Start Date: Immediate Start

Pay Rates:

TFN Rates:

- Base Rate: $45.00 / hr

- Time & a Half: $60.00 / hr

- Double Time: $78.00 / hr

ABN Rate:

- Flat Rate: $55.00 / hr

Key Responsibilities:

- Directing the Tower Crane Operator from the ground using clear, precise radio commands, whistles, and standard hand signals (especially during blind lifts).

- Safely slinging, securing, and balancing various loads before lifting.

- Inspecting rigging equipment, chains, slings, shackles, and lifting gear prior to use for safety and compliance.

- Assessing load weight, dimensions, and center of gravity to determine correct slinging techniques and equipment selection.

- Monitoring weather conditions (wind speed) and site hazards during lifting operations.

- Coordinating with site supervisors, crane operators,



and ground crews to maintain smooth and efficient workflow.

- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe lift zone at all times.

Requirements:

- Valid High-Risk Work Licence with Dogging (DG) ticket (Rigging ticket RB/RI/RA beneficial).

- Proven experience dogging Tower Cranes on active construction sites.

- Valid White Card (General Construction Induction).

- Full PPE (Steel-cap boots, hard hat, high-vis shirt/vest, safety glasses, gloves).

- Reliable transport to get to site for a 6:00 AM start.

- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
