An established Australian technology company is looking for an experienced Embedded Software Manager to lead a team of 10 engineers developing embedded systems, desktop applications, and cloud-based software used in complex settings worldwide.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll drive engineering best practices, modernise development processes, mentor engineers, and help shape the future direction of the software team.

What You'll Do:
Lead and mentor a team of 10 software engineers and testers.
Drive improvements across engineering processes and software delivery.
Provide technical leadership through architecture, code reviews, and problem solving.
Work closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Help build a solid engineering culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
What You'll Bring:
Proven experience leading software engineering teams as a manager or team lead.
10+ years of commercial software engineering development experience.
Strong background in embedded C / C++




Experience across Linux and Windows embedded environments.
Strong understanding of embedded software development and modern engineering practices.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Nice to Have:
Cloud platforms and CI/CD environments
Experience working in regulated or safety-critical industries.
