Due to continued project growth, we are seeking an experienced Rigging Supervisor to lead rigging crews on a FIFO 2:1 roster across major project sites.
About The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for supervising all rigging and lifting activities, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications, Australian Standards and client requirements.
This is a hands‑on leadership role where you will coordinate lifting operations, mentor rigging crews and ensure the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise rigging crews, doggers and lifting personnel.
- Coordinate complex lifting operations and crane activities.
- Ensure all lifts are completed in accordance with approved lift plans and SWMS.
- Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox talks and safety inspections.
- Monitor productivity, quality and project performance.
- Ensure lifting equipment is inspected, maintained and fit for purpose.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Supervisors and HSE teams.
- Promote a solid safety culture and provide leadership on site.
About You
To Be Successful, You Will Have
- Current High Risk Work Licence - Intermediate or Advanced Rigging.
- Current Dogging High Risk Work Licence.
- Construction White Card.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Minimum 5 years' experience on major construction, mining, infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Previous experience leading or supervising rigging teams.
- Demonstrated experience coordinating complex lifting operations.
- Strong knowledge of lift planning, crane operations and safe lifting practices.
- Working at Heights, Confined Space and EWP (highly regarded).
- Current First Aid and CPR (desirable).
