As our Head of School Logistics, you will become one of the key operational leaders within the School, responsible for ensuring the complex logistics that underpin an ELC to Year 12 environment are delivered with precision, strategic thinking and continuous improvement.
About the Role
Reporting to the Deputy Principal and as a member of the School Management Group,
the successful candidate will work closely with leaders across the School to ensure key operational processes are planned, coordinated and delivered efficiently.
The role has been established to provide strategic oversight of whole-school logistics, bringing together responsibilities including timetabling, school calendars, examinations, national testing and operational planning. It will play an important role in ensuring curriculum decisions are translated into practical, well-managed operational outcomes while identifying opportunities to improve systems and processes across the School.
The Head of School Logistics will be responsible for:
- Leading the development, implementation and ongoing management of the ELC to Year 12 timetable.
- Coordinating the School's annual calendar and major operational activities.
- Managing the planning and delivery of Senior School examinations, including scheduling, room allocations and supervision.
- Leading the coordination of NAPLAN and other national testing programs.
- Maintaining and improving the systems that support school operations and timetable integration.
- Working with Senior Leadership to ensure staffing, facilities and resources are utilised effectively.
- Providing leadership and support to the Daily Organisation and Relief Coordinator.
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency across the School.
About you
You will be an experienced educator with a strong understanding of school operations and a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
You will also bring:
- Current teacher registration (or eligibility for registration) in South Australia.
- Experience in school timetabling, operational planning or a related leadership role.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage complex information.
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build team-oriented relationships across all areas of the School.
- A commitment to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality outcomes.
