Full-time | Based in Australia | Salary: $110,000 - 140,000 (dependent on experience)

We've got a team in Australia and a team in the Philippines working together, and we're scaling. This role is a big part of how we do that properly.

The Role

We need someone to take the day-to-day running of the business off our founder's plate, so she can focus on the work that actually needs her: client relationships, technical oversight, and growing the firm.

You'll own scheduling, HR admin, and the systems that keep a two-country team running smoothly. This isn't a support role that waits to be told what to do. We need someone who sees what's about to break and fixes it before it does.

What you'll own:

- Scheduling and resourcing across our Australia and Philippines teams, making sure workloads are balanced and nothing falls through the cracks.
- HR admin, onboarding and the operational side of people management alongside our HR advisers
- Full ownership of billable KPIs and deadlines, tracking performance, having the direct conversation when someone's off track, and following through on real consequences when targets are missed. This comes with our full backing, the team will know your decisions here carry weight.
- You'll work hand in hand with our technical lead. They own the technical judgment calls, why a job took longer, whether the work was done right. You own everything else,



deadlines, hours, process, and non-technical accountability. You don't need a tax background to do this job well, you need to know when a conversation needs their input and when it doesn't.
- Process and systems, building and maintaining the operational structure that lets the firm run without the founder in every decision.
- Room to grow into more client-facing operations work as you prove yourself in the role. This isn't scoped on day one, but it's on the table.

What We Need From You

- You finish what you start, without someone chasing you. If we hand you a project with no deadline, it still gets done. You build systems that keep running once you've moved on to the next thing.
- You’ll push back on us. If something's not working, we need you to say so, clearly, even if it's inconvenient or we're not thrilled to hear it in the moment. We'd rather you hold the line than quietly go along with something you know is a mistake.
- You're comfortable having hard conversations and following through. When someone misses a KPI or a deadline, you'll be the one who raises it, directly, and sees it through to a real outcome. This isn't a role for someone who’d rather avoid the friction.
- You stay steady when priorities shift. Things move quick here. Plans change mid-week. We need someone who brings order to that, not someone who gets rattled by it.
- You can manage people across two countries and hold them accountable, face to face, without needing to be the loudest person in the room.
- You're happy improving systems, not just running them, but you finish what you improve instead of moving on to the next idea before the last one's done.
