What's the Role
We’re seeking a trade‑qualified and experiencedHeavy Diesel Mechanic. This role is part of our industry‑leading transportation company and plays a key part in meeting the transport needs of hundreds of Australian businesses.Lindsay Transport is Australia’s largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature‑sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres, and is part of the Lindsay Group, a national leader in transport and logistics.

What You’ll Do
- Maintain fleet to the highest level – vehicle maintenance and repair, replacing and diagnosing issues across a variety of fleet vehicles (prime movers, rigids and trailers)
- Perform major repairs including mid‑lives and brake/bearing overhauls and servicing
- Demonstrate safe work practices, lead by example and promote a safe work culture
- Accurately complete maintenance and repair documentation
What You’ll Bring
- Mechanical trade qualification
- Proven competence in repairs and overhauls
- Experience working on prime movers or heavy vehicle trailers is highly valued
- Effective diagnostic skills on Kenworth, DAF, Cummins, BPW
- Basic computer skills
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Motivated, reliable and a positive work ethic
