About the Role:
Join our team as a Full time Security Officer at a retail site in Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast.
You will deliver qualified security services while ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for customers and stakeholders.
Working a 4 on, 4 off rotating roster (12-hour shifts across days and nights), you will play a key role in maintaining site safety, responding to incidents, and upholding operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:




Provide high-level customer service and security presence
Patrol, monitor, and control site access
Respond to alarms, incidents, and emergencies
Conduct risk assessments and manage threats
Prepare detailed incident reports and maintain logs
Maintain strong situational awareness at all times
Skills & Experience:
Current Security Licence with Crowd Control (essential)
Control Room Licence
Current First Aid & CPR certification
Prior security experience in a retail setting
Qualified presentation and robust communication skills
Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends
Team-focused with a proactive, positive attitude
