About the RoleBabylon Data is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to support the delivery of a major Defence ICT capability.Working within a multidisciplinary delivery team, you will provide security engineering expertise across the design, implementation and assurance of secure ICT systems.
You'll contribute to security governance, technical assurance, risk management and the delivery of security outcomes aligned with Defence requirements.




Key ResponsibilitiesProvide security engineering advice across ICT projectsContribute to secure solution design and implementationSupport security risk assessments and technical assurance activitiesAssist with security governance and compliance requirementsWork closely with technical teams to deliver secure capabilityContribute to engineering documentation and security artefacts
Essential Skills & ExperienceCurrent NV2 Security ClearanceExperience as a Security Engineer within complex ICT environmentsKnowledge of Defence security requirements and secure system designExperience conducting security risk assessmentsStrong stakeholder engagement and technical communication skillsAbility to work within multidisciplinary engineering teams
DesirableDefence ICT experienceSecurity accreditation or certification experienceFamiliarity with the Australian Government ISM and PSPFExperience supporting complex systems integration projects
