We are seeking a Business Analyst with robust experience across financial systems and General Ledger (GL) processing to support a range of business and technology initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of technology and business, working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes across system enhancements and data migration activities.
Your new role
You will play a key role in requirements definition, testing, and back book migration support, contributing to the successful delivery of financial system change.
Key Responsibilities
Elicit, analyse, and document business and functional requirements for financial system initiatives
Work closely with business and technology stakeholders to translate business needs into clear requirements
Support General Ledger (GL) processing and financial system workflows
Participate in system and user acceptance testing, including test case creation and execution
Support back book migration activities, including data validation and issue resolution




Ensure requirements and solutions align with business objectives and regulatory expectations
What you'll need to succeed
You are a hybrid Business Analyst who is comfortable operating across both business and technical teams and understands the nuances of financial systems.
Key Skills & Experience:
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in financial services or finance-driven environments
Solid understanding of General Ledger (GL) processing
Experience working with financial systems (e.g. core banking, accounting platforms, ERPs)
Solid experience developing business and functional requirements
Hands-on involvement in testing phases (SIT/UAT)
Experience supporting or contributing to data or back book migrations
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
