About the Opportunity

Danny Met Sally has some exciting opportunities in our SIL home in Murwillumbah, and we're looking for a passionate Female House Lead as well as Female Disability Support Workers who truly value quality, individualised support.

We’re looking for staff with the right values to enrich the lives of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) residents. We need committed staff who have flexible availability across a 24/7 roster, including a willingness to work a variety of hours, including overnight shifts.

This is a excellent opportunity for Support Workers who are looking for a rewarding role with great hours and a more stable, consistent flow of work.

Due to the participant's background, only Female Applicants are required for these positions.This is recognised as a genuine discrimination exemption andoccupation qualificationand is authorised under (Part 3, Division 2, Section 31 (1), (2) (a-i), (3) & (4) of the NEW SOUTH WALES Anti-Discrimination Act 1977).

The House Lead Role

will be a Permanent Part Time role with support times consisting of 7am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday.

The Disability Support Worker Role

will be a casual role with support times mainly in the afternoon, sleepover and weekends.

About You





- 12+ months experience as a Disability Support Worker in SIL highly desirable but not essential.

- Experience with behaviour management is highly desirable but not essential.

- Relevant qualification (minimum Certificate III in Disability or related industry OR willingness to enrol prior to commencement.

- Driver’s Licence & Car with Comprehensive Insurance.

- NDIS Worker Screening Check.

- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.

- Manual Handling Certificate or willing to obtain (we can provide training)

- Medication Administration Certificate or willing to obtain (we can provide training)

- Flexible availability & commitment to an ongoing roster of support.
