Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading law firm to recruit an Associate/Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Construction & Infrastructure team in Sydney.

This is an outstanding opportunity to work on complex construction and engineering disputes across some of Australia's largest infrastructure, renewable energy, transport, mining and industrial projects.

Working within a nationally recognised team, you will gain exposure to sophisticated contentious construction matters while developing your expertise in dispute resolution and project delivery.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of construction and engineering disputes, including:

- Construction and project delivery advice
- Commercial dispute resolution and strategic claims
- Negotiation, mediation and alternative dispute resolution
- Adjudications and expert determinations
- Supreme Court litigation and arbitration
- Preparing pleadings, evidence, discovery, expert reports and Counsel briefs




- Assisting with business development initiatives and monitoring industry developments

About You

You will have:

- 2+ years' post-admission experience in construction, commercial litigation or infrastructure disputes
- Experience in contentious construction matters (preferred)
- Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Robust commercial judgement and a practical approach to dispute resolution
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships
- A genuine interest in developing a career in construction and infrastructure disputes
