to join our precision-focused Machine Shop team in
Perth, WA

About the Role
Reporting to the
Machine Shop Supervisor
, you will be responsible for
programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes and machining centres
within a busy jobbing workshop workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
Program and operate
CNC lathes and machining centres
Proficiency with
SIEMENS 828D/840D controls
and
SIEMENS ShopTurn
language is essential
Produce high-precision components to exacting standards
Read and interpret complex technical drawings
Work autonomously and collaborate effectively in a small team
Maintain
safety, quality, and workshop housekeeping
standards
Operate forklifts and overhead cranes (desirable)
About You




You will bring:
A
Trade Certificate / Qualification
in Machining or equivalent
Proven experience as a
CNC Machinist
—
CNC turning experience preferred
Strong ability to
program, set up, and operate
CNC machines
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
A
Forklift Licence
(advantageous but not essential)
