We’re seeking an experienced End User Computing (EUC) / Desktop Support Engineer to support a key client across multiple sites in the Ipswich region (Wivenhoe & Swanbank). This is a fully onsite role (5 days per week) suited to someone who enjoys being hands‑on, working directly with users, and resolving issues in real time.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing hands‑on EUC / desktop support across multiple customer sites
- Troubleshooting hardware, software, and networking issues in a Windows environment
- Supporting Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and endpoint management tools (Intune / SCCM / AirWatch)
- Managing device builds, deployments, and user onboarding/offboarding
- Supporting endpoint security tools including BitLocker and LAPS
- Working within ServiceNow to manage incidents and requests
- Delivering a high level of customer service in a fast‑paced setting
- Participating in a 1-in-3 on‑call roster
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in EUC, Desktop Support, or similar hands‑on roles
- Strong knowledge of Windows environments
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Intune and/or SCCM
- Experience with VMware AirWatch (Workspace ONE)
- Familiarity with LAPS, BitLocker, RDP, remote support tools, and AV solutions
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience using ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
- Strong troubleshooting and customer‑facing skills
- Familiarity with ITIL practices
Key requirements
- Ability to work onsite 5 days per week
- Must have a valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (travel between Wivenhoe & Swanbank sites)
- Willing to participate in an on‑call roster (1 in 3 weeks)
- On‑call is paid standby, with overtime rates paid if called out
