Working within a collaborative and innovative laboratory environment, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the Molecular discipline, providing technical leadership, maintaining quality systems, and ensuring compliance with national and international accreditation and regulatory standards. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement, support emerging technologies, and ensure the delivery of accurate, timely, and reliable testing.Key competencies (role specific criteria)You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:Demonstrated contributions to the quality of clinical practice within a molecular diagnostic laboratory, through compliance with organisational policies and procedures and maintenance of relevant legislative, administration, and professional standards, including NATA / ISO / TGA accreditation / certification requirements.Demonstrated high level knowledge and skills in Molecular diagnostics.Demonstrated high level knowledge, expertise and skill in applying the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement, and a high-level understanding of laboratory quality control and quality assurance programs.Why work with us?Work alongside passionate professionals in a supportive and inclusive environment that values people and prioritises employee success and wellbeing.
