They help older people stay connected, independent, and feeling like they belong right here in our community.
We're looking for kind humans to join our Mandurah based South-West team as Social Support Companions.
A few hours of your time can turn an ordinary Tuesday into someone's favourite day of the week.
What You'll Do:
Pick up, accompany and take home one of our lovely clients (Up to 2 -3 hours total time commitment)
Show care and kindness
Be their friendly travel buddy for appointments, activities, and special outings
Share stories, laughter, and maybe discover a recent favourite song for your playlist
When We Need You:
Choose a time that suits you - Monday to Friday
Who You Are:
• A protected and reliable driver with a current licence
• Warm, patient, and happy to chat

We're on the lookout for kindhearted people to provide one service, helping a wonderful older person enjoy their week a little more.
The time commitment is a breeze: up to 3 hours, once or twice a fortnight.
Training
This role is supported by our Team Leader of Volunteer Drivers at Mandurah, so required training will be provided.
