Truck Drivers Viya Trading (WA) Pty Ltd is looking for experienced and dependable Truck Drivers to support its delivery operations.
The role involves operating rigid trucks safely and lawfully while transporting groceries from warehouse to our B2B clients.
This position requires drivers who maintain high standards of safety, legal compliance and personal responsibility.
Location: Metropolitan Perth and regional Western Australia Employment Type: Permanent, full-time Annual Remuneration: $79,423 to $88,000 plus superannuation.Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicants will be responsible for:Conducting regular pre-start and operational checks to confirm that vehicles are secure and roadworthy.Planning productive travel routes and completing deliveries within required timeframes.Manoeuvring trucks safely and accurately at warehouses, loading docks and customer delivery locations.Restraining, securing and protecting freight to prevent movement,



damage or loss while in transit.Operating vehicle-mounted and site-based equipment to load and unload goods safely.Complying with all applicable road laws and workplace health and safety requirements during transport and freight-handling activities.Checking load weight and distribution to maintain vehicle stability and ensure legal mass limits are not exceeded.Reviewing delivery paperwork, inspecting the condition of transported goods and obtaining proof of delivery.Applicants RequirementsApplicants must satisfy all of the following criteria:At least 12 months of full-time, or equivalent part time, demonstrated experience operating rigid trucks in accordance with mass, fatigue and load-restraint requirements.Practical knowledge of load-restraint procedures, fatigue-management obligations and vehicle mass regulations.Ability to provide a recent driving history report and referees who can verify commercial driving experience.A reliable and methodical approach to safety, regulatory compliance, documentation and vehicle maintenance.Ability to work independently, follow operational directions accurately and meet delivery commitments.Willingness and ability to comply consistently with strict safety and legal requirements.What We OfferWell-maintained trucks and regularly serviced equipment.Clearly defined responsibilities and direct operational support from management.A professional workplace where employees are expected to perform their duties safely, correctly and lawfully.
