Roles and Responsibilities:
•Check the quality and weight of raw materials and ingredients as per the recipe requirements and prepare a variety of doughs and batters.
•Bake bread, pastries, cakes, and other bakery items, monitoring baking times, oven temperatures and product appearance and prepare pastry fillings.
•Ensure products meet quality standards for taste, appearance, and texture.
•Collaborate with other bakery staff to coordinate the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning, and cooling processes for batches of bread, rolls, and pastry products to maintain consistency and quality and ensure efficient production.
•Safely operate bakery machinery and equipment, such as mixers, dough dividers, ovens, and slicers.
•Regularly inspect and maintain bakery equipment to ensure protected and productive operations.
•Follow food safety guidelines,



including proper handling and storage of ingredients.
•Clean workstations and equipment before production starts and after each shift, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation throughout the bakery.
•Decorate, glaze, or fill bakery items as required to create appealing presentations.
•Inspect baked goods for consistency in quality, shape, and size.
•Monitor and manage stock levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders when necessary.
•Keep records of daily production, waste, and ingredient usage.
•Assist with customer orders and special requests, ensuring a positive customer experience
Skills:
•Knowledge of various baking techniques and familiarity with bakery equipment.
•Solid understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices.
