About the role:
We currently have an opening for a Factory Hand at
Smart Steel
in our
Malaga branch.
Duties Include:
Reading of wall frame drawings
Reading of truss frame drawings
Reading of floor joist drawings
Competent & secure handling of workshop hand tools
Working to the fast pace of the set job production job times
Using the cutting saw for processing purlins & SHS/RHS
Using the hydraulic cutoff shear for processing lightweight items.
Assisting with packing of wall & truss packs ready for transport.
Using the strap packing machine
Responsibility of issued trolley & hand tools
Occasional work on the roll form machine.




General house keeping to maintain a clean safe work area.
About the candidate:
Reliable work ethic
Have a high attention to detail and ensure the quality of their work
Hardworking and physically fit
Valuable hand / eye coordination skills
Safety conscious and ability to work in a busy environment
The ability to work in a team setting
Must be able to work with minimum supervision
