YEM is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic operator to join our team.
The position involves truck driving and machinery operations is for day/night shift work based in the ACT and you will be required to work on weekdays and weekends.
Casual positions are also available.
Tasks and Responsibilities
General operation of Heavy Rigid (HR) vehicle including general driving in line with NSW/ACT road rules, loading, tipping and entering and exiting work sites.
Qualifications and experience
The applicant shall possess:
a current HR truck licence
a full drivers licence
at least 6 months experience in the operation of a HR vehicle
a safe driving record and history
a positive and high regard for safety policies and procedures
extensive knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations
a reliable and versatile attitude
a professional work ethic
excellent organisational and communication skills
safety training in White Card, Asbestos Awareness & Silica
Relevant Backhoe / excavator / experience
Experience with exposing and digging around services
