This role is ideal for a payroll professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys investigating issues, identifying root causes, and driving compliance outcomes.
You'll play a key role in working through identified and potential payroll issues, ensuring they are thoroughly investigated and resolved.
About the role:
Investigating each confirmed or potential payroll issue
Identifying and clearly documenting root causes
Assessing impacted employees, time periods and financial exposure
Recommending appropriate remediation actions for each issue
Supporting the delivery of remediation outcomes
Recommending system, control and process improvements to prevent recurrence
About you:




Proven experience in payroll remediation, compliance, or audit projects
Chris21 experience is essential
Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation and award interpretation
Ability to work through complex payroll issues with a high level of detail
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Confident communicator, able to translate findings into explicit recommendations
Experience working across payroll systems and navigating data
