ABOUT THE COMPANY.
Our Client based in South-West Sydney, is actively searching for a Recreational & Open Space Planner to join their Planning division for an initial 6 month contract. This dynamic team oversees projects including parks, sports grounds, community buildings, playgrounds and social infrastructure.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
In this position, you will play a key role in implementing recreation projects to support the Planning division, from developing project plans through to project completion. Your skills in project management will play a key role in the success of your management of diverse consultant disciplines.
DUTIES.
Develop and update policies and strategies
Implement Council's community planning program
Reviewing and analysing social impact assessments
Provide advice and guidance to Council and stakeholders
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
Tertiary qualifications in Open Space,



Urban Planning or equivalent
Experience working with open space projects and works on masterplans
Solid community planning, including consultation experience
Unrestricted Driver's License
CULTURE.
Your Council is collaborative and encourages a teamwork focused environment. You will be expected to attend the office full time and WFH arrangements may be discussed following training period.
