We are currently working with one of Melbourne's leading apartment builders in search of a dedicated Health and Safety Representative (HSR) who brings a solid background in construction; particularly with large scale commercial projects valued at $50m +.
You will play a critical role in promoting and ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of all workers in office working closely with project managers, supervisors, and the workforce to maintain a safety-first culture while supporting and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
Effectively liaise with Project Managers to develop and implement site specific safety plans.
Investigate any incidents on site, prepare reports and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements where required.
Ensure that the site is kept up to date on any changes to health and safety laws, regulations and industry standards.
About You
Certificate III in WHS at the very minimum.
Demonstrated experience of conducting site assessments, safety walks and toolbox meetings on commercial sites.




Experience with Hammertech highly desirable though not essential.
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to promoting a safety-first culture.
The project/s are based around Metro Melbourne in the North and South East suburbs so you will ideally live within a commutable distance of these areas.
Perks:
The role offers an hourly rate of up to $50 - $52 p/h (experience dependent).
