About the Role
Reporting to the Head of Tax and Treasury, you will cover all areas of tax compliance for the group in Australia and New Zealand, whilst also gaining exposure to the company's treasury and insurance functions.
Key responsibilities include
Preparation of quarterly and annual income tax, FBT and GST returns for the group in Australia and New Zealand;
Preparation of monthly BAS AND FTC calculations;
Supporting the Head of Tax with Tax Risk Management across the ANZ business, as well as tax planning;
Assisting with tax reviews and audits, as well as liaison with the ATO;
Assisting with the preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation for the local business; and
Assistance with local financial and group reporting requirements, as well as liquidity forecasting.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in an accounting or business related field;
Corporate Tax experience in an Australian Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm;
CA, CPA or CTA qualified, or working towards this;
Robust communication skills,



and able to comfortably communicate with internal stakeholders both locally and globally; and
A 'can do' attitude and natural curiosity regarding all things tax.
