Compton Green Enterprise Services (CGES) is a growing facilities, property and land management company delivering services across a diverse portfolio of government and community assets throughout Victoria. As our business continues to expand, we are seeking a reliable and motivated Handyman & Gardener / Land Management to join our dynamic team.
About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines general property maintenance, handyman services and land management activities across a broad government contract portfolio.
No two days are the same. You will work across a range of sites undertaking:
- General handyman and maintenance works
- Basic carpentry repairs
- Locksmith-related tasks and repairs
- Minor building maintenance and make-safe works
- Gardening and landscape maintenance
- Lawn mowing and grass management
- Weed control and vegetation management
- Rubbish removal and site presentation
- Land management activities across vacant and developed sites
- Property inspections and reporting
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous experience in handyman,
facilities maintenance or property maintenance services
- Practical carpentry skills
- Experience with general repairs and maintenance
- Gardening, landscaping or grounds maintenance experience
- Experience operating lawn mowing and gardening equipment
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to get things done
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A current Victorian Driver's Licence
- White Card (desirable)
- Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain one
