Looking for a safety advisor for 4-6months work, permanently on a night shift roster out at our ANI project assisting subcontractors and personnel undertaking drainage/earthworks/tipping operations work scope from around early to mid August start timeframe.

Key Responsibilities

- Promote and maintain a positive safety culture across the site.
- Conduct workplace inspections, hazard identification and risk assessments.
- Facilitate incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Assist with the development, review and implementation of Safe Work Procedures (SWPs).
- Coordinate site safety audits and compliance inspections.
- Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks and training sessions.
- Monitor compliance with the South Australian Work Health and Safety (Mines) legislation.
- Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
- Maintain accurate safety records, reports and documentation.
- Work closely with operational teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

About You

- Sound knowledge of WHS legislation and mining safety requirements.




- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (minimum).
- Robust communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience conducting incident investigations and risk assessments.
- Ability to build positive working relationships with employees and contractors.
- Current Driver's Licence.
- Current First Aid Certificate (desirable).
