Position: UI/UX Designer Intern
Business Web Solutions is a leading web design and development company based in Canberra, ACT, Australia. We are seeking a highly motivated and creative UI/UX Designer Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship.
As a UI/UX Designer Intern, you will have the chance to work closely with our experienced design team and assist in creating cutting-edge and user-friendly websites for our clients. You will gain hands-on experience in all stages of the design process, from concept development to final product delivery.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the design team to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for websites and web applications
Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform design decisions
Assist in creating user personas and user journey maps
Work with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and meet the desired user experience
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UI/UX design
Contribute to the overall design strategy and provide creative input for projects
Assist in creating design assets and maintaining design libraries
Communicate and present design ideas and concepts to team members and clients
Requirements:




Currently pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or a related field
Strong understanding of UI/UX design principles
Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch
Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to take direction and work in a fast-paced environment
A strong portfolio showcasing previous design work is preferred
