We are currently seeking a Substation Technician to join our Electrification and Automation Customer Services team in Perth, Western Australia.
Role Overview:
The Substation Technician will be responsible for servicing Medium Voltage AIS & GIS Switchgear, Low Voltage Switchgear, Busway systems, and protection & automation systems for clients across Australia and Current Zealand.
Key responsibilities include:
Installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical infrastructure
Ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and customer satisfaction standards
Performing preventative and corrective maintenance, upgrades, and workshop repairs
Providing technical support and expertise to clients
About You?
Minimum five years of experience in LV and MV Distribution systems
Unrestricted Electrical Licence (A grade or equivalent)
Valid Driver's Licence and ability to travel for site work




A passion for customer service
Additional qualifications that would be advantageous:
Electrical Engineering background or equivalent experience
Experience in Partial Discharge Testing & protection relay testing
Knowledge of Sulfur Hexafluoride (SF6) gas handling
