About the Role

As a Civilian Psychologist, you’ll be a key memberof a multidisciplinary healthcare team, supporting the complex and diversemental health needs of active ADF personnel.

Your Impact Will Include:

- Conductingcomprehensive intakes and psychological assessments
- Delivering tailored,evidence-based psychological interventions
- Administeringpsychometric assessmentswithin scope
- Managing your owncaseload with professional autonomy
- Coordinating andoverseeing externally referred cases
- Participating in crisisresponse, risk assessment, and management planning
- Collaborating within asupportive, multidisciplinary team

This role offers flexibility to practice withinyour areas of interest while contributing directly to Defence capability andoperational readiness.

About the Location

TindalHealth Centre islocatedatRAAF BaseTindal, 15km outside Katherine,



and 320km south-east of Darwin.The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 550 Defence members,surging at regular Air Force exercise periods throughout the year. The healthcentre provides general medical, aviation medical,nursing,physiotherapyand mental health services.Italsooperatesa 10-bed inpatient low dependency day ward. Standardoperating hours aregenerally 0730-1600Monday – Thursday dependingon role requirements, half day 7:30 – 13:30 Friday.

About You

You will bring:

- Current, unconditionalAHPRA Registrationas a Registered Psychologist
- Minimum 2 years’post-graduate mental health experience (within past 5 years)
- Experience in psychologicalassessmentand delivery of Focused Psychological Strategies
- Current CPR certificate(HLTAID009)
- Knowledge of relevantlegislation and ADF Mental Health & Wellbeing Strategy (desirable)
- Australian Citizenshipand the ability to obtain and maintain a Baseline Defence SecurityClearance
