About The Opportunity

In this key leadership role you will have full sales and operations P&L; accountability for Stegbar Windows South Australia and will represent the unit as a leader in the global building products industry. Based at our Pooraka facility, you will proactively inspire, lead and manage seven direct reports and a broader team of forty-five in delivering safety, production, customer, revenue, profit and growth targets for the group.

Key Responsibilities

- Sales and Marketing - Manage the sales operations by developing and implementing the business unit's strategic sales plan whilst enhancing Stegbar Windows through a values-based consultative sales performance culture
- Business Development – Continuously improve the business in line with our and the group's strategic plan, promoting and leveraging ‘One Company’ opportunities
- Operational Excellence – Manage the business unit so that the operations are performed both effectively and efficiently, with a constant drive for improved productivity to improve the overall return on investment
- Financial – Own and manage the unit’s financial performance including budgeting, forecasting, cost control and margin improvement, ensuring commercial decisions support revenue, profit and sustainable growth targets




- Leadership - You will develop, implement, and execute the strategy to deliver the overall business, people, and performance targets through the business unit leadership teams
- People, Culture and Engagement – Build and execute engagement strategies that make Stegbar Windows a place where people want to work and contribute to our premier performing culture
- Customer Service – Continually strengthen customer loyalty and increase sales volumes by providing a quality customer experience and superior product performance
- Systems and Controls - safeguard the company's financial and physical assets in compliance with our group policies and procedures
- Production - Oversee manufacturing and warehousing activities and processes to ensure daily planned production requirements are actioned to meet our customer commitments (DIFOT), with most efficient (low cost/lean) use of capital and resources (plant, equipment, direct labour & material costs), to agreed standards and targets (quality, productivity, service.)

About You

- We are seeking a driven, motivated leader with P&L; management experience in the windows or broader building products industry.




- Your experience in driving revenue growth and operational efficiency combined with your ability to inspire your team to strive for excellence will be key to your success in this role as we build on and surpass our achievements to date.
- Effective leader and proven performer with experience in leading and developing high-performing and engaged teams
- Proven experience in executing sales plans and business development activities resulting in increased revenue and market share
- Operational excellence and a lean skill set

- Strong oral and written communication skills

- Systems savvy
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent industry experience (5 years +)
- MBA or Master’s degree (desirable)
- Current, unrestricted driver’s licence
