Data Governance & Quality Analyst | Sydney | Contract Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced
Data Governance & Quality Analyst
to play a key role in establishing and embedding data governance capabilities across a large, complex organisation.
This is an exciting prospect to contribute to the development of enterprise-wide governance frameworks, improve data quality and integrity, and support the implementation of contemporary data governance tools within a contemporary data and analytics environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement Data Governance frameworks, policies, standards and procedures
Establish data ownership, stewardship and accountability models
Drive Data Quality initiatives and continuous improvement programs
Support metadata management, data catalogues, business glossaries and data inventories
Assist with Master Data Management (MDM) and Reference Data Management capabilities
Define and monitor governance KPIs, maturity assessments and risk registers
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to improve data integrity, trust and compliance




Support implementation and adoption of leading governance platforms
About You
You will bring:
5+ years' experience in Data Governance, Data Quality or Information Governance
Proven experience establishing governance frameworks in large enterprise environments
Strong understanding of:
Data Quality Management
Metadata Management
Data Lifecycle Management
Master & Reference Data Management
Data Privacy and Compliance
Hands-on experience with one or more of:
Microsoft Purview
Collibra
Informatica
Atlan
Alation
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Highly Regarded
Government, public sector or highly regulated industry experience
Experience supporting large-scale transformation or ERP programs
Knowledge of governance maturity frameworks and data governance reporting
