About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Contract Associate Manager to join a high-performing Legal & Commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the commercial and contractual management of complex client engagements while partnering with sales, delivery, and business stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle.
You will play a key role in managing commercial risk, supporting contract negotiations, ensuring contractual compliance, and helping deliver successful project outcomes across a diverse portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the commercial and contractual management of client engagements throughout the full contract lifecycle.
- Partner with sales, delivery and leadership teams to provide commercial guidance during pre-award and delivery phases.
- Assist in the identification, assessment and resolution of contractual and commercial risks.
- Review, draft and support contract documentation and commercial correspondence.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, internal governance and company policies.
- Build robust relationships with client stakeholders and internal project teams.
- Support contract management activities across multiple projects and accounts.
- Contribute to commercial strategies that protect revenue, improve margins and support business growth.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience in contract management, commercial management or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of commercial contracts, contract lifecycle management and risk management principles.
- Experience supporting complex technology, consulting or professional services engagements is highly regarded.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently at all organisational levels.
- Strong analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- A proactive, client-focused approach with excellent attention to detail.
Qualifications & Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Law or a related discipline.
- Membership or certification with World Commerce & Contracting (WorldCC), NCMA or similar is advantageous.
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory.
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required Government security clearances if required.
