Spectra Lifestyle is a leading manufacturer of high-quality residential and commercial cabinetry across Perth and surrounds. We specialise in kitchens, bathrooms, custom joinery, retail fit-outs and display homes.

Across our factory and business operations, we apply LEAN manufacturing principles streamlining processes, reducing waste, improving safety and delivering outstanding results for our clients.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a reliable, motivated Trade Assistant to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for someone who:

- Is practical, hands-on and reliable

- Enjoys working with tools and materials

- Takes pride in quality workmanship

- Wants long-term employment and skill development

- Values teamwork, respect and a well-run workplace

No formal cabinetmaking or carpentry experience is required. We will train the right person . Previous experience in a factory, workshop or construction-related environment is beneficial but not essential.

What You'll Be Doing

- Working as part of a skilled,



supportive factory team

- Assisting with the assembly of cabinetry

- Operating hand tools, power tools and factory machinery (if applicable - training provided)

- Selecting and preparing materials and components

- Reading and interpreting job sheets, drawings and cutting lists

- Loading, unloading and moving materials safely

- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment

- Supporting quality control and finishing tasks

- As skills develop : expanding responsibilities and technical tasks

- Potentially (if suitable) : onsite installation work

What We're Looking For

- A strong work ethic and team-focused attitude

- Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship

- Willingness to improve, learn new skills and processes

- Receptiveness to feedback

- Ability to follow instructions and work safely

- Good communication skills

- A valid manual driver's license

No cabinetmaking experience required

Skills & Experience (Advantageous but Not Essential)

- Previous experience in cabinetry, joinery, carpentry or manufacturing

- Familiarity with hand and power tools

- Exposure to CNC routers and edge banders

- Construction White Card

- Forklift license
