As we continue to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Internal Sales Representative to join our Victorian team.

About the role:

You’ll become a trusted point of contact for customers, helping them solve problems, select the right products and deliver successful outcomes. Whether you’re preparing quotations, processing customer orders or supporting key accounts, every day offers new challenges and opportunities to make a genuine impact.

Working closely with customers, external sales representatives and our technical team, you’ll play an integral role in delivering the exceptional service Mechtric is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver exceptional customer service via phone and email, responding promptly to customer enquiries.
- Interpret customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Prepare accurate quotations and process customer orders using our ERP system.
- Ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered within agreed timeframes.




- Build and maintain strong relationships with current and existing customers.
- Conduct proactive outbound calls to Key Account customers to strengthen relationships and identify opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to upsell complementary products and value-added solutions.
- Resolve customer enquiries professionally while maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Support marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns.

About You

You’ll be someone who enjoys helping customers, solving problems and building strong working relationships. You’re organised, proactive and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where your contribution makes a difference.

You’ll also bring:

- Previous experience in an Internal Sales, Customer Service or Technical Sales role (2+ years preferred).
- An electrical or industrial products background (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently explain technical information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused approach.
- High attention to detail and accuracy when preparing quotations and processing orders.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Confidence using ERP systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to outstanding customer service.
