Security Officer – Defence, Construction, & Infrastructure Sites

FSR is seeking professional and reliable Security Officers to join our team working across defence and critical infrastructure projects throughout Adelaide.

What you'll be doing:

- Duties may include:

- Managing vehicle and pedestrian access points
- Verifying personnel, contractors, and visitors entering site
- Gatehouse administration and record keeping
- Monitoring site activity and reporting incidents
- Conducting foot patrols as required
- Responding appropriately to incidents and emergencies
- Maintaining compliance with site security requirements
- Providing professional customer service to site personnel and visitors
- Completing reports and site documentation

This role is best suited to candidates who are serious about a career in security and understand the importance of professionalism in client-facing environments.

Requirements

- To be considered, applicants must:
- Hold a current South Australian Security Licence
- Hold a current White Card
- Ability to undergo security clearance and suitability screening as required.
- Hold a current Driver's Licence and reliable transport
- Have excellent communication skills
- Be capable of working independently
- Be available for both day and night shifts, including weekends where required
- Have full Australian working rights

- Desirable:

- Previous gatehouse security experience, Construction site security experience, Defence or critical infrastructure experience, Current First Aid Certificate, Experience with access control or visitor management systems
