Community Transport Officers – Perth Metro

Casual, part-time & full-time roles available | $29.85-$37.31 hour + shift allowances | Make a difference with every journey

Join NPT’s transport team and support patients across WA.

We’re looking for capable, caring individuals to join our WA transport team as Community Transport Officers , based out of Canning Vale. In this role you’ll deliver safe, clinically competent transport services to patients — playing a vital part in their care journey.

You’ll be supported and trained in NPT’s systems and protocols, and part of a team that genuinely lives its HEART values.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Community Transport Officer (CTO), you'll:

- Transport ambulant or wheelchair-bound patients to and from medical appointments
- Deliver compassionate care with a strong focus on safety and customer service
- Drive patient vehicles safely in compliance with WA road laws
- Follow NPT policies, procedures and documentation standards
- Align with NPT HEART values (High Standards, Efficiency, Accountability, Respect, Teamwork)

We're looking for calm, compassionate and competent people who work well under pressure and are wired to help others in the healthcare industry.

You’ll need:

- Holds or is willing to obtain required HLTAID011 Provide First Aid & CPR (minimum requirement)
- Recent experience in healthcare, aged care, or transport highly regarded
- Full driver licence, police clearance and meets compliance requirements (see below.)
- Ability to work across a variety of shifts,



including some weekends

- Driver's History from Transport WA (no more that 6 demerit points in the last 3 years)
- National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months, stating reason as "Patient Transport")
- Right to Work in Australia (passport, birth certificate, VEVO Check)
- Evidence of required immunisations: Influenza, Hep B, Pertussis, MMR, Varicella, Flu
