SACE Coordinator – Marian Campus Position of Responsibility (POR 3) | 0.40 FTE Release Time Commencing January 2027 Applications close 9:00am Friday 7th August 2026

Cardijn College is seeking an experienced and dynamic educational leader to join our Marian Campus as SACE Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate educator to lead the successful delivery of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE), ensuring exceptional outcomes for students while supporting staff capability and continuous improvement across the senior years program.

Cardijn Context

Cardijn College is a leading R-12 co-educational Catholic school established in 1984, deeply connected to the Marist tradition and inspired by the dual charisms of our patrons, Cardinal Joseph Cardijn and St. Marcellin Champagnat.

Cardijn College Marian in Noarlunga Downs enrols students from Years 7 to 12, offering an extensive curriculum alongside a vibrant extra-curricular program to support a range of learning pathways and cater to the varied interests of our students.

Cardijn College Marcellin in Christie Downs has a focus on vocational education and training for students in Years 10 to 12 and beyond, with relationships that extend well into their careers.

Marcellin facilitates seamless transitions into professional life through strong industry partnerships, equipping students with the skills and experiences necessary for career success.

Cardijn College Galilee in Aldinga enrols students from Reception to Year 9,



providing a nurturing environment with an emphasis on ecological awareness and a personalised sense of belonging.

About The Role

The SACE Coordinator provides strategic and operational leadership for all aspects of SACE delivery at the Marian Campus. Working closely with the Head of Campus, Director of Teaching & Learning, Pathways Team and Learning Leaders, the successful applicant will lead compliance, assessment and moderation processes, subject pathways, staff development and student support programs to ensure students successfully complete their SACE and are well prepared for future pathways.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and oversee SACE administration, compliance and reporting requirements.
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies that support successful SACE completion.
- Coordinate moderation, examinations, special provisions and quality assurance processes.
- Support subject selection, counselling and senior school pathway planning.
- Lead and support the Pathways Team, including collaboration with VET and pathway programs.
- Analyse and report on SACE data to drive continuous improvement and student achievement.
- Build staff capability through professional learning, coaching and mentoring.
- Communicate effectively with students,



families and staff regarding SACE requirements and opportunities.
- Contribute to strategic leadership and continuous improvement initiatives within the College.

About You

- Demonstrated knowledge of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) and associated compliance requirements.
- Experience leading curriculum, assessment and reporting processes in a secondary school setting.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret and communicate student achievement data.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to build positive relationships with students, families and staff.
- Proven ability to lead teams, manage change and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- A commitment to Catholic education and the values of the Marist tradition.
- Current teacher registration in South Australia (or eligibility to obtain registration).
