Bike Coach

Employment Type – Part Time or Casual

The Bike Coach will support the development and growth of one of Australia’s leading mountain bike destinations in picturesque Bright, Victoria. Responsible for the day‑to‑day operation of Mystic Bike Park Bike School, coaching, and guiding operations – including the management of general lessons, private lessons, and special coaching programs – you’ll play a hands‑on role in delivering high‑quality experiences, fostering rider progression, and promoting a safe and welcoming coaching environment for all bike skill levels.

- Support the day‑to‑day operation of the Mystic Bike Park Bike School programme
- Program and lesson delivery: deliver a wide range of lessons and programs to riders of all abilities
- Junior events: assist in the planning and delivery of junior racing and events
- Program review and development: assist the management team in reviewing and developing the Bike School programme

Bike Mechanic

Mystic Bike Park is seeking a skilled and motivated Bike Mechanic to join our team. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role suited to someone who is passionate about bikes, enjoys working outdoors, and thrives in an all‑paced environment. You will be responsible for maintaining our rental fleet, assisting customers, and ensuring all bikes are safe, reliable, and trail‑ready.

Qualifications & Experience

- Service, maintain, and repair the bike rental fleet
- Prepare and set up hire bikes, ensuring correct fit and safety before customer handover
- Deliver excellent customer service to riders of all ages and skill levels
- Assist with customer check‑ins and general front‑of‑house operations
- Diagnose mechanical issues and carry out effective repairsPerform on‑the‑spot fixes to get riders back on the trail with minimal downtime
- Track bike usage and maintenance schedules using spreadsheets
- Ensure all bikes are serviced according to maintenance intervals
- Manage workshop inventory, including stock control and ordering parts when required
- Respond to customer enquiries via a workshop email
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace despite limited workshop space
- Work effectively in an outdoor environment across varying weather conditions

Skills

- Strong bike mechanic skills with experience servicing a wide range of mountain bikes




- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues
- Confident working independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable using computers, including spreadsheets and email systems
- Robust organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage workload and prioritise tasks in a busy environment

Bike Patrol Volunteer

Mystic is looking for enthusiastic mountain bikers with an interest in emergency management and first aid, to join our newly designed volunteer patrol programme. This is a unique opportunity to ride and explore Mystic Bike Park while also developing skills in hands‑on patient assessment, management of trauma patients and extrication from mountain bike trails.

Bike patrol exists to ensure that even when things don’t go according to plan, our riders can have a smooth process to get them to the best care possible. Being a volunteer patroller means interacting with all park guests in a friendly and supporting way, and being part of a team that the riding community trusts.

When incidents occur, being able to work as part of a team to help that rider get off the trails and into the best hands possible.

We aim to develop a team of Volunteers to assist with our business as usual operations, as well as exciting upcoming events. This role also provides a unique opportunity to learn about the Pro Patroller roles, and we regularly recruit Pro Patrollers from the Volunteer Program.

Mystic Bike Park is one of Victoria’s premier riding destinations. Managed by Elevation Parks, it caters to all skill levels and a range of MTB trails from technical singletrack to gravity‑fed flow and jump trails.
