Our client is in the market for a Senior Cloud Engineer to implement digitally enabled whole-of-government services that deliver simpler connected platforms.

This role would suit someone with a background in software development, robust AWS & CDK experience, and the ability to identify application impacts and changes to communicate them to the development team.
Your day to day:
- Provide expert AWS Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps engineering services, supporting internal and external stakeholders in delivering secure, reliable cloud platforms.
- Lead the development of cloud architecture solutions, providing technical guidance and presenting solution designs to stakeholders and customers.
- Support Cloud and DevOps delivery, including customer onboarding, cloud solution design,
and the evaluation of emerging technologies.
- Experience in developing solutions in disciplines such as Digital Identity, and API Data Sharing (e.g. financial grade APIs), including Developer Portals
- Experience and solid understanding of Applications Development using modern front-end frameworks and full stack approaches.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using GitHub Actions, AWS CodeDeploy, AWS CodePipelines and strong AWS administrator skills (Infrastructure deployments, applications, software updates).
- Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and recommendations to improve cloud platforms, infrastructure, and engineering practices.
