Are you an experienced Theatre Registered Nurse looking for your next rural contract?
We're seeking an RN with Anaesthetics and/or Scrub experience to join a regional hospital in the beautiful Whitsunday region.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive theatre team while enjoying everything tropical North Queensland has to offer.
About the Role
You will be working within the Theatre team, supporting a range of surgical procedures while participating in an on-call roster.
Essential Requirements
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Recent experience in Anaesthetics and/or Scrub
- Ability to participate in an on-call roster, including potential days off
- Current Advanced Life Support
- Current Basic Life Support
- Ability to meet all mandatory Queensland Health compliance requirements
Highly Desirable
- Experience assisting with Caesarean Sections
- Previous experience using ieMR SurgiNet
- Experience with FirstNet, PowerChart and HBCIS
- Previous Queensland Health or Australian public hospital experience
