At Live Nation, we’re passionate about transforming live events and creating extraordinary moments for artists, event professionals, and fans. Role Objective: Do you love ticketing, have a passion for operations, and thrive when things move fast? We're looking for an experienced Ticketing Manager to join the team in Melbourne on a 9-month contract, managing ticketing operations across a diverse portfolio of events and tours. You'll work closely with the Ticketing Director and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, playing a key role in everything from on-sale execution to inventory management. It's a role for someone who's organised, hands-on, and comfortable keeping multiple moving parts on track in a live entertainment environment.
What you’ll be doing:
- On-sale delivery: Coordinate the planning and execution of ticketing on-sales across a busy calendar of events and tours, ensuring every launch runs smoothly.
- Inventory and allocation: Oversee ticket inventory, holds, and allocations across the portfolio, adjusting as events evolve.
- Sales reporting: Monitor and report on ticket sales performance, keeping internal teams informed and up to date throughout each event cycle.
- Stakeholder management: Build strong working relationships with the Ticketing Director, promoters, venues, and ticketing partners to keep everyone aligned.
- Event settlement:
Manage ticketing through to settlement, ensuring accuracy across reporting, reconciliation, and sign off.
- Problem solving: Bring a proactive, solutions focused approach to the inevitable curveballs of live entertainment ticketing.
What you’ll bring:
- Ticketing expertise: Solid experience managing ticketing operations within live entertainment, touring, or events.
- Organisational skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines at once.
- Stakeholder confidence: Comfortable liaising with internal teams, promoters, and external partners across the full event lifecycle.
- Ready to hit the ground running: Able to step into a high volume ticketing operation and add value quickly.
- Fast paced mindset: Thrives in a high-volume, ever-changing environment where priorities can shift quickly.
- Flexibility: Flexible to support event operations outside standard business hours and Melbourne as required.
