We are seeking expressions of interest from internal applicants to join our Out of Home Care directorate as Manager, Placement Services. Based in our Adelaide CBD office, the role provides strategic leadership across placement services and supports consistent, high-quality practice across the child protection system.

This is an opportunity to influence how placement services are delivered and contribute to improvements across the organisation. You will bring your leadership experience to a role that supports improved outcomes for children, young people, carers and families.

In this role, you will:

- Lead practice improvement initiatives that strengthen placement services and decision-making
- Provide expert advice on complex matters, emerging risks and practice issues
- Oversee governance processes that support safe, consistent and ethical practice




- Build capability through coaching, guidance and professional development initiatives
- Partner with stakeholders to drive service improvements across the child protection system.

About you:

You are an experienced leader who can influence operational practice and deliver strategic priorities through strong governance, sound judgement and effective decision-making. You understand how frameworks and legislation guide practice and can identify opportunities to strengthen systems and service delivery.

You bring experience leading teams and creating a safe and inclusive setting where staff are supported to provide high-quality services. You understand the importance of culturally safe practice and working in partnership with Aboriginal communities and organisations to support improved outcomes for children and young people in care.
