Responsibilities:
Monitor and investigate security alerts across enterprise environments
Assist with security incident triage and response activities
Analyse logs and identify potential threats using SIEM platforms
Support vulnerability assessments and remediation activities
Assist with endpoint, network and cloud security monitoring
Work alongside senior security engineers on threat hunting initiatives
Maintain security documentation and incident reports
Continuously develop technical knowledge through mentoring and training
Skills/Must Have:
Degree,



Diploma or Certificate in Cyber Security, Information Technology or related field
Robust understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS and Firewalls
Exposure to Linux and Windows operating systems
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles including the OWASP Top 10
Familiarity with security tools such as Splunk, Wireshark, Burp Suite or Microsoft Sentinel
Basic scripting experience with Python, Bash or PowerShell is advantageous
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Robust communication skills and willingness to learn
