An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced
Contract Administrator
to join a well-established commercial builder on a
6-month contract
, delivering a high-profile
commercial retail redevelopment
in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.
This is an excellent prospect to step onto a live project with a collaborative team and play a key role in ensuring successful project delivery from a commercial perspective.
The Role Working closely with the Project Manager and Site Team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day commercial management of the project, ensuring subcontractors, procurement and project costs are managed effectively throughout the build.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement and letting of subcontract packages
Preparation and administration of subcontract agreements
Management of variations and contractual correspondence
Assessment and processing of progress claims
Cost reporting and budget tracking
Management of RFIs and project documentation
Liaising with subcontractors, consultants and suppliers




Supporting the Project Manager to deliver the project on programme and within budget
About You
Previous experience as a Contract Administrator on commercial construction projects
Experience working on retail, commercial, refurbishment or mixed-use developments
Strong understanding of procurement, cost management and contract administration
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced project environment
A proactive attitude with robust organisational skills
Available for an immediate start or at short notice
