Carers SA is the peak body for Carers in South Australia, advocating for greater recognition and improved support. We provide services and support for Carers of all ages and is the Statewide lead Carer Gateway provider.

About the Role
As the Contract Management Lead, you’ll provide operational support for the management of Carers SA’s subcontracted and brokered service providers. You’ll coordinate provider onboarding, maintain compliance records, administer provider agreements and support contract management processes to ensure providers meet their contractual and organisational requirements.
Working closely with internal teams and external providers, you’ll monitor provider documentation, contract status, service capacity and emerging risks. You’ll also support provider engagement, identify service gaps and improvement opportunities, and contribute to the implementation and ongoing administration of Carers SA’s contract management and compliance systems.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, confident working with detailed information and enjoys building positive relationships while supporting strong governance, compliance and service continuity.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Coordinate onboarding for subcontracted and brokered service providers
- Collect, verify and maintain provider qualifications, registrations, insurances, screening checks and other required documentation
- Monitor compliance expiry dates and follow up outstanding or expiring documentation
- Coordinate provider contracts, renewals, variations and associated administration
- Maintain accurate provider agreements, contract registers and compliance records in an audit-ready state
- Monitor provider onboarding, compliance, capacity and contract status
- Record and follow up provider feedback, complaints, incidents and service concerns, escalating risks where required
- Build positive relationships with providers and support them to understand contractual and compliance requirements
- Identify service gaps, provider capacity concerns and opportunities to strengthen service availability
- Prepare reports on provider compliance, contracts, onboarding and service capacity
- Support the implementation and administration of provider contract management and compliance systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement of provider onboarding, compliance and contract management processes
About You
You’re a detail-focused and solutions-oriented professional who can confidently manage competing priorities while maintaining accurate records and meeting deadlines. You communicate clearly, build constructive relationships and know when to resolve an issue directly or escalating a risk for further action.
You will also have:
- Experience in contract administration, compliance administration or provider management
- Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience reviewing documentation, identifying gaps and escalating concerns appropriately
- Experience implementing, transitioning to or administering a contract, compliance, vendor or procurement management system
- An understanding of risk-based compliance requirements across different provider types
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Microsoft Office and database skills
- The ability to work autonomously, remain organised and manage competing priorities
It’s great if you also have:
- Experience in community services, aged care, disability, health or human services
- Experience working with subcontracted service-delivery models
- Project coordination experience
- An understanding of the challenges faced by unpaid Carers and the community services sector
Requirements
- Certificate IV or Diploma in Business, Administration, Procurement, Contract Management or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Current DHS Working with Children Check
- Current National Police Check
- Mandatory child protection training, or willingness to complete it
