Are you anexperienced nurse leader with a passion for operational excellence,patient flow, workforce leadership and delivering safe, highquality patient care?

Join us in a criticalleadership role responsible for providing after hours clinical andoperational oversight across Sir Charles Gairdner and Osborne ParkHospital (SCGOPHCG). You will lead the After Hours Nursing Teams,support patient flow and access initiatives, coordinateorganisational responses to emerging risks, and ensure the deliveryof safe, high quality patient care.

There are multiple PermanentFull-Time / Part time and/or Fixed Term Full-Time / Part-Timeappointments available including:

- Coordinator of Nursing –After Hours (Afternoon and Weekend Shift; ~1.8 FTE)
- Coordinator of Nursing –After Hours (Night and Weekend Shift; ~1.6 FTE)

Fixed Termappointments will be made with the possibility of extension(s)and/or permanency.

Given the senior leadershipresponsibilities and need to maintain operational continuity andcurrency/relevance, priority will be given to applicants seekingappointments of 0.8FTE or greater in a job sharearrangement.

All successful applicantswill be required to participate in the follow rosters:

- Afternoon shift withrotational weekends

OR

- Nightshift with rotational weekends

Specifics of these rosterswill be discussed with successful applicants.

What is ourCoordinator of Nursing – After Hoursrole?

As theCoordinator of Nursing – After Hours, you will beat the forefront of leading the SCGOPHCG Nursing teams, AfterHours. You will work autonomously and in collaboration withclinical and non-clinical staff to operationally manage, resolveand reduce risks.

The roleworks in collaboration with direct reports to manage the human,financial and material resources within their allocated portfolioin accordance with policies, objectives goals and values of theSCGOPHCG.

TheCoordinator of Nursing – After Hours is a new role to the SCGOPHCGthe successful applicants will have a unique opportunity tocontribute to the development, refinement and evolution of theservice model, helping shape the future direction of after-hoursnursing leadership across the health care group.
