Solution Steel requires Fabrication / Welding Supervisor on Night Shift to oversee our operations in our Bibra Lake Workshop
The Night Shift Fabrication /Welding Supervisor will support the daily operations of our structural steel fabrication & welding division. Reporting to the Fabrication Manager, this role is responsible for supervising factory teams, coordinating production activities, and ensuring materials and products move efficiently from fabrication through to dispatch.
This position suits someone with welding experience who enjoys working in a hands-on industrial environment while leading a team.
What You'll Do
Supervise day-to-day fabrication / welding and yard operations to support fabrication and dispatch activities.
Lead and support fabrication & production staff to ensure workflow, productivity, and quality standards are maintained.
Leading the welding and processing team & machines to optimize maximum production outcome.
Coordinate receiving, storage,
and handling of raw materials and steel products.
Liaise with purchasing, fabrication teams, and dispatch to maintain efficient workflow.
Work with the fabrication Manager to meet production targets and company KPIs.
Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and workflow
Promote and maintain a strong workplace health and safety culture.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment across the workshop.
What You'll Bring
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a steel fabrication/welding setting.
Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is a must.
Fabrication or Welding experience will be highly regarded.
Good understanding of industrial safety practices.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions while leading a team to achieve production targets.
